Our new Regional Senior Practitioner Training is available to attendees from multiple different settings, similar to our virtual Open Senior Practitioner Training but provides you with all the benefits of our in House Senior Practitioner Training amongst a smaller group! This two day course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need to use the MOVE Programme in your organisation.

For new settings this is the perfect opportunity to start your MOVE journey by training a small group of staff, ensuring they still receive all the benefits of our in house training, usually delivered to larger groups.

For current MOVE settings, this is a fantastic option to add to your existing MOVE team if you don’t yet have a MOVE Trainer. To get the best out of this course, settings should send two to four individuals on the course so that the activities throughout the training can be completed with a child or young person in your setting that all attendees know.

Additionally our Regional Senior Practitioner Training is open to SEN settings, health boards, mainstream settings and alternative provisions providing attendees with unique opportunities to network with like minded settings.

Day 1 of the course will cover Steps 1-3 (Assessment, Goal Setting and Task Analysis), focusing on the MOVE ethos and how to engage families and the wider team.

Day 2, you will be taken through Steps 4-6 (Prompt Measurement, Prompt Adjustment and Teaching the Skills), focusing on gaining a practical understanding of how you will complete MOVE programmes for your pupils and integrate skill practice into daily activities. Both days will involve discussion of case studies from your setting.

Course Aims
